Monique Ganderton was born in Edmonton Alberta Canada. She has always had a passion for sports and adventure. She achieved high levels of track and field, equestrian and is also a certified
snowboard instructor. She was involved in diving, gymnastics, softball, figure skating and dabbled in martial arts.

A familiar story, Monique was discovered at a local shopping mall in Edmonton by a modeling agent and agreed to give it a try. She moved to Toronto at 18 to pursue modeling and whatever else would spark some fire in her.

A few days on set watching a stuntwoman shoot the place up triggered an internal passion for action.  Monique soon pursued stunt work adamantly. Her first Stunt gig came on the recruit
where she met the fabulous Bridget Moynahan and inspiring Al Pacino. The job was amazing and secured Monique as an up and coming stuntwoman and stunt actor. Bridget would later go on
to request Monique for Irobot in Vancouver.

Monique has been working full time as an actor and stuntwoman for the last six years. She has appeared in features like Watchmen, Xmen: The Last Stand, Irobot, White Chicks, Resident Evil: Extinction, Underworld: Evolution, Wickerman, In the Name of The King, and 2012. Monique co-starred in ABC Family miniseries Fallen, air date in 2007. In 2008 she landed a Guest star role in the ABC pilot Inseparable, created by Shawn Cassidy and directed by Rob Bowman. Monique then went to co-star in the feature King OF Fighters, a support role in Dolph Lundgren’s Icarus and a star role in Another Day In Hell.  All are to be released in the coming year of 2009.  In 2009 Monique has performed on upcoming series Human Target, Smallville, a yet to be titled Joss Whedon/Drew Goddard Project and Tron.  She also looks forward to re-curing role in pilot “The Trainer”. Monique is continually pursuing her true love of performing.
